And Here's the Good News:

The policy of "don't ask, don't tell" will be eliminated. As Michelle Goldberg says, it's 'the end of an error.'

The U.S. House gives a resounding 'yes' to the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Thank god. Eat it, pay discrimination. I'm astonished that equal pay for equal work is still controversial.

At the Detroit International Auto Show, which opens next week, green technology will be elevated--not just with one or two PR-friendly vehicles, but with an increasing emphasis that the way people move on this earth is permanently changing.
