In an energetic and thoughtful short film made by Detroit MC Invincible, "The Revival" tells a story of groundbreaking women in hip-hop. She particularly features a personal conversation between pioneers of the art, Roxanne Shante and Bahamadia, during the "We-B Girlz" independent tour through Europe. Spliced with footage of thrilling performances, the film also features new artists DJ Shortee, Eternia, and Stacy Epps. Invincible proves, as usual, to be a creative force to be reckoned with -- on and off the stage. Follow her at Emergence Music.
That's really impressive. I love seeing people take their spirit into their own expression. I know nothing about hip-hop, and I mean nothing, but I appreciate spirit, and this is full of spirit. Thanks for sharing it with us!
