Lauren Redniss' new graphic novel on Marie and Pierre Curie looks extraordinary. Jezebel offers a nice walk-through some of the beautiful art in this book; it, and the strange story of radioactivity, science, and a woman who was the first person to win two Nobel Prizes (in both physics and chemistry), has me hooked.

By tales, I mean fiction (especially short fiction), as well as other literary and artistic narratives. By truth, I mean the world in which we live. I especially have my eye on creative social justice.
