Perhaps instead of only looking at grades, colleges should consider physical prowess, right?

I mean.. isn't gender equality a bit of a social construct? If we are going to obsess over constructing some sort of ideal blend of men and women and race and socioeconomic status in our University, why not also include physical beauty or strength as one of the deciding factors?

Because the whole thing is retarded. The way to make everyone equal is to raise the status quo of those who are not competitive enough.

Instead, we lower the status quo for our brightest students, in the name of diversity.

Affirmative Action is bad bad bad, whether it is for men or women or races.

  • Isak is a space to celebrate tales and truth in the curious, joyful way embodied by the writer for which it is named. The name "Isak," after all, means "laughter," as she was fond of pointing out.

By tales, I mean fiction (especially short fiction), as well as other literary and artistic narratives. By truth, I mean the world in which we live. I especially have my eye on creative social justice.
