The Cleveland Plain-Dealer has a surprising and intriguing new feature: a monthly philanthropy column that is focused on "profiling more solution-oriented people who moved beyond complaining and apathy and have results to share." Nobody seems better than Margaret Bernstein to write it, at least judging from her first piece. I am in love with her expansive definition of philanthropy. Note: it's not just giving billions of dollars to some politically opportune cause.
