My sister loved those Baby Sitter Club books. I was more of a Boxcar Children guy myself.

Just a heads up that your name was on the front page of the Free Press today:

Thanks for the tip, Kevin! I didn't know anything about the Free Press mention until I finally took a look at my copy of the paper about an hour ago ... and I was quite surprised. :)

I'd be quite curious if they decide to re-release/re-format the Boxcar Children books ...

What the heck. I want my 11 year old daughter to read thees books like me. She say's she will give them a chance. But I hope that Scholastic did a HORRIBLE job at making them for young kids, or I'm just gonna have to look on E-bay for the originals. I mean why would scholastic think that young kids would want to read about Kristy, Claudia, Marry-Ann, Stacy, Mallory and Jessie. Makes no sens!! ;(

Isak

  • Isak is a space to celebrate tales and truth in the curious, joyful way embodied by the writer for which it is named. The name "Isak," after all, means "laughter," as she was fond of pointing out.

By tales, I mean fiction (especially short fiction), as well as other literary and artistic narratives. By truth, I mean the world in which we live. I especially have my eye on creative social justice.
